Sharon is the proud mother of two teen-age daughters, Skylar and Kirklin. She grew up on a Saskatchewan family farm, with parents of Ukrainian and Scottish heritage. A former high school and college teacher, Sharon has contributed to charitable causes that include medical research and legal education/action. As a highly successful entrepreneur, Sharon is a realtor, business woman, property owner/manager/developer. She volunteers extensively as a coach and referee and other sports, arts, education and literacy community activities, which earned her a Volunteer of the Year (EFCL) award in 2004.
